FUNCTION

To make a suggestion “Let’s go!”, “Let’s begin!” in Chinese, simply add a particle 吧 (ba) at the end of your sentence:

我们上课吧!

Wǒmen shàng kè ba!
Let’s begin our class!
(lit. “We-start-class-[ba]!”)
